Jesseca Lindsey, one of Spelman's class of 2023 Top 10 graduates, is a
Spanish major, public health minor on the pre-physical therapy track. During her time at Spelman, she has been involved in the Atlanta University Center chapter of the National Association of Black Physical Therapists where she currently serves as the secretary.
The Atlanta native works in the Student Success Center as a First-Year Study Group Lead and a Sophomore Major Meet-up Guide. Last summer she participated in the Duke DPT Summer Discovery Program where she learned more about what it takes to become a physical therapist. After graduation she will attend Emory University where she will pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Her ultimate goal is to become a pediatric physical therapist in Spanish-speaking communities.
