Annaya Baynes is an
English and
French double major from Plainfield, New Jersey. The class of 2023 Top 10 student is a member of the
Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program, a UNCF/Mellon Mays Undergraduate Research Fellow, a Writing Center tutor and Student Success Program study group lead.
Baynes is on the e-board for SpelRPG and The Blue Record, the official podcast for Spelman College run by the
Social Justice Fellowship Program. An editorial intern for FSG at Macmillan and a production manager for the reproductive justice podcast, "Black Feminist Rants," Baynes is infinitely grateful for the love she has received from her family and Spelman siblings and aspires to pursue a career in the publishing industry after graduation.
