Her areas of expertise include racial and ethnic inequality, ideology, youth, education, and sociology of health. Ultimately, her research agenda aims to interrogate how race (and ethnicity) impacts people’s lived experiences, the relationship between racialized experiences and racial ideology, and groups’ understanding of broader racial dynamics. Her most recent publication, "Beyond the Four Frames of Colorblind Ideology: The Impact of Colorblind Ideology on Black Millennial's Racial Views", was published Summer 2022 in “Phylon.”
