
Zhana Bishop is a graduating senior health science major and Spanish minor with an interest in public health from the Bronx, New York
During her time at Spelman, Bishop also completed HIV prevention research at the Morehouse School of Medicine Prevention Research Center. A fellow for the In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda, she creates on campus educational initiatives around reproductive justice.
As a
Health Career Opportunity Pipeline Preparation Program Scholar, Bishop gained an early conditional acceptance to Boston University School of Public Health’s Master of Public Health program in community assessment, program design, implementation and evaluation.
Regarding her long-term goals, Bishop hopes to become an international public health specialist serving minority communities both in the United States and abroad.
