Danica R. Key, C'2003, was recently named assistant vice president for state government relations at Atlanta public affairs firm McGuireWoods Consulting. In her new post, she will assist clients with legislative and regulatory matters before the Georgia General Assembly.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Key spent 13 years as executive director of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, the largest state Black caucus in the nation.
“We are very excited to have Danica join our growing Georgia team,” said Brad Alexander, McGuireWoods Consulting’s senior vice president and director for state government relations in Atlanta.
“Her expertise and familiarity with both the legislative process and current legislators will be a tremendous asset and resource to our clients and existing team members,” he said.
