Title IX : Faculty & Staff Resources

Spelman Speaks Up

Online Training

To help promote a violence-free campus, Spelman College has mandated and required that all faculty and staff members receive specific education and training with regard to reporting responsibilities, requests for confidentiality and other matters related to the prevention of sexual misconduct.

Haven for Employees is an online learning module that will provide you with the appropriate information on the prevention of sexual misconduct and your role as a “responsible employee.”

Haven will take you approximately 45 minutes to one hour to complete–you do not need to complete the course in one sitting. Haven consists of two parts, Part 1 includes a Pre-survey and course content. Thirty (30) days after you have completed Part 1 you will receive an email notifying you that Part 2 is ready.

All responses are anonymous; Spelman College will only receive information about the faculty and staff body as a whole and will never see individual faculty and staff answers.

To fulfill Spelman’s requirement:

  • Go to and click Register.
  • Under “Student/Learner”, enter the Registration Code 00132348 to create your EverFi Account
Note: When prompted, please enter your <9 digit SCID #> to receive credit for completion.
  • Complete Part 1 of Haven for Faculty and Staff.
  • After 30 days, you will receive an invitation to complete Part 2 of Haven for Faculty/Staff; Part 2 should be completed within 30 days of receiving the notice of availability.

*If you already have an EverFi Higher Ed Account, go to, enter your login information, then enter registration code 00132348 by clicking “Add a Course” in the top right corner of the Dashboard.
