Mikayla Sharrieff is a junior dual degree engineering major on the mathematics track from Washington, D.C. This year, she serves as the secretary of Spelman technology services for the 2021-2022 academic school year. She is also the community service co-chair for Sisters Keeping It Real Through Service (SKIRTS) as well as the recipient of the Washington Women of Excellence Award.
This year, Sharrieff is responsible for serving as a liaison between the student body and Spelman Technology Services, establishing direct lines of communication between STS and working in collaboration with all areas of STS to ensure all aspects of the division are meeting student needs.
Her goal for this year’s term is to “Modernize the 350” by building strong relationships between Spelman STS and the Spelman student body to ensure that STS standards are conducive to a successful learning environment.
