Alannah Taylor is a junior health science major on a pre-medicine track from Williamstown, NJ. She currently serves as secretary of student affairs for the 80th Administration of the Spelman Student Government Association. This is her first year on the board!
Taylor is passionate about advocating for students and bringing awareness to their concerns. As secretary of student affairs, she works closely with the Office of Student Affairs to find students' concerns and address them. With the help of Dr. Bonnie Taylor, she focuses on resolving issues within the Spelman community.
For the academic school year, Taylor's goal is to bring awareness to different students and implement events/initiatives that magnify students' experiences on campus. She plans to work on Spelman's strategic plan but host stress management events and conversations with the Dean.
Aside from SGA, Taylor is also an Undergraduate Health Science Academy Scholar at Morehouse School of Medicine, campus liaison for Utopia Atlanta, a Spelman Protégé Mentor, and chief of staff for the Spelman College Chapter National Action Network. After Spelman, she plans to attend medical school, where she will later become a pediatrician for children with disabilities.
