"If I had to do it again, I would choose Spelman every time. I’m blessed to attend an institution that has a legacy of educating and empowering Black women to be leaders and change agents," Gyekye said.

"Words don’t do the experience justice. Spelman uplifted me, encouraged me and affirmed my purpose. I am thankful for the spaces within the community that provided continuous support on my best and worst days. Last but certainly not least, to the class of perfect vision, we are the definition of 'undaunted by the fight.' These past four years have been filled with love, tears and laughs. I am grateful for each and every moment. Our class has been extraordinary ever since we entered Spelman’s gates in 2016, and I know this is only the beginning for us."
