Two Spelman Students to Participate in A Public Roundtable on Museum Representation

The Clark InstituteJuniors Destinee Filmore and Ming Washington will represent the Spelman student body during “The Object of Performance – a Conversation Among Artists, Curators, and Scholars,” at 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22, at the Clark Art Institute located in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

Filmore and Ming will be joined by Cheryl Finley, Ph.D., the inaugural distinguished visiting director of the AUC Art History + Curatorial Studies Collective, Dorothy Moss, curator of painting, sculpture, and performance art at the National Portrait Gallery and coordinating curator of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Initiative, for a discussion on performance art.
