Sexual Assault Helpline: 678-873-5884

At Spelman College, it is believed that every woman has the right to be healthy and safe and that this community should be characterized by mutual trust and respect among all members. Although the Spelman community is a relatively safe one, community members are not immune to issues of sexual assault and violence, as with other institutions of higher learning.

Students who have been sexually victimized are strongly encouraged to report the assault, to seek medical and counseling assistance, and to pursue police/criminal justice action for their own protection and that of the entire campus community.

Student Access Center: 404-270-5293

All students have questions about their ability to succeed and graduate. Concerns, as well as questions regarding accommodations, can be even more pressing for students with disabilities.

The mission of the Student Access Center (SAC) is to create an academic, social and physically accessible environment for students with disabilities by removing obstacles to learning.
