Faculty Travel Awards

The Center of Excellence for Minority Women in STEM is now accepting applications for Faculty Travel Awards. The travel awards are designed to allow faculty the opportunity to attend conferences, trainings, or short courses to develop knowledge and collaborations in emerging areas of priority to the Department of Defense. Travel award applications are reviewed on an on-going basis.

The following criteria is used to evaluated each application:

• Applicant has committed to present a seminar for Natural Science and Mathematics faculty and students on knowledge gained through the conference/training/short course experience within one month of returning from the event;

• Applicant has explained how knowledge gained from this experience will support their development;

• Applicant does not have access to travel funding from other sources.
