Marketing Guru Michelle M. Bailey Launches HBCU Honors Awards Show

Michelle M Bailey Purpose-driven entrepreneur and marketing guru, Michelle M. Bailey, C’89, recently launched the inaugural HBCU Honors award show to showcase eight alums of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who represent the crème-de-la-crème of Black Excellence across various industries.

Prior to acquiring her MBA in marketing, a certificate of completion in entertainment management from the University of Southern California (USC), and building an extensive career in brand management and marketing research, Bailey studied economics at Spelman College. She then launched a trailblazing career at BET Networks, pursuant to attaining additional educational accolades. Not only has Bailey proven to be an integral part of the growing success of the BET Networks portfolio, she also established a new division – the program research department – to recognize branding market research as a key part of the company’s decision-making process.

No matter how far Bailey comes in her career, she continues to understand the importance of HBCUs.
