In the summer of 2020, the Office of Alumnae Engagement created a series of discussions with Spelman sisters that we affectionately named The Sister Soul Circle (SSC). These one-hour chats are held every second Sunday at 3 p.m. ET (September – June) and feature an alumna that leads a conversation on topics that focus on self-care: mind, body and spirit. We’ve covered everything from how to have conversations with children about Black Lives Matter and the pandemic to a cooking class to an intergenerational conversation with our beloved Dr. Gloria Wade Gayles.
