Meet Our Social Justice Fellows

Sophia Howard, C'2021

Sophia Howard Sophia Howard is a junior, comparative women's studies major from Nashville, Tennessee. 

During the summer, Howard interned with the Equal Justice Initiative, a human rights organization in Montgomery, Alabama founded by Bryan Stevenson, the widely acclaimed public interest lawyer who has dedicated his career to helping the poor, the incarcerated, and the condemned. While in Alabama, Howard worked on a racial justice project designed to tell the stories and say the names of Black people who have been terrorized by white supremacists.
