Meet Our Social Justice Fellows

Kayla Smith, C'2021

Kayla SmithKayla Smith is a junior international studies major with a concentration in diplomacy from Atlanta, Georgia. 

During the summer, she traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Charles B. Rangel Summer Enrichment Program, a U.S. State Department initiative administered by Howard University that seeks to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers as diplomats in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. As a Rangel Scholar, Smith participated in academic seminars and gained exposure to different career tracks affiliated with international affairs and public policy. She also spent two weeks in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba this summer.
