Elizabeth Gowans is a senior History major with a minor in food studies from Corinth, Texas. In the past, Elizabeth has worked as a Community Organizer on the Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate campaign and as a county election clerk during the 2020 presidential election. She is also interested in studying Black women's lives relating to food and addressing food insecurity. Her ultimate goal is to obtain a Ph.D. and, after time as a professor, to be a college president and change the lives of all the students she meets.
