Future Aspirations: Jasmine Gaillard, C'2019, who is graduating a year early, aspires to pursue a career that would allow her to address food insecurity and health disparities that are affecting vulnerable populations. Upon receiving her Master’s in Public Health (MPH), she hopes to become credentialed as a registered dietician. Her passion is to consult the public on healthy eating choices. Gaillard also plans to receive a Ph.D. to conduct research on food injustices, specifically its impact on rural America. Her ultimate goal is to work at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to assist in bettering and/or implementing national programs and policies that are devoted to improving the health of vulnerable populations throughout the nation.
