Spelman Meets Broadway"Spelman Meets Broadway" is a two-day event comprised of a social justice concert written, produced and directed by Spelman alumna Janinah Burnett, C'2000, and a Master Class/Q&A featuring Janinah Burnett, C'2000, soprano; Maia Wilson, C'98, soprano; Sumayya Ali, C'2000, soprano; and Adrienne Walker, C'2008, soprano.

All events are free and open to the public.

Sunday, April 15 at 6 p.m. | Sisters Chapel
"I, Too Sing America: A Lament for the Fallen" is a multimedia social justice commentary written, produced and directed by Spelman alumna Janinah Burnett featuring musical compositions by Margaret Bonds and Donnie Hathaway; poems by Toni Morrison and Langston Hughes; and arrangements by John Carter and Hall Johnson. Additional performers include Kenneth Overton, baritone; Morehouse alumni James Davis Jr., pianist; and Rashad Raymond Moore, orator.
