Isoke Nelson, C'2022, is a senior economics major and a member of the following clubs and organizations: the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program, NAACP, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society.
The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native also works as an data entry volunteer for the Adopt an Inmate organization and is responsible for interpreting and transcribing inmate survey data, and conducts research to locate inmates and update their housing information in an electronic database.
Nelson, whose area of research is the intersection of race, class and crime/incarceration, intends to earn a Ph.D. in Economics with a focus on urban economics.
