Aisha Deolu-Sobogun, C'2023, a junior economics major from Houston, Texas, is a member of the following clubs and organizations: the Spelhouse Pre-Law Society, Economics Club, African Student Association, and Scholars of Finance. 

Deolu-Sobogun’s area of research is affirmative action policies, and she plans to pursue a Ph.D. and become a corporate attorney. In 2021, she participated in the College's Spelpreneur business pitch competition sponsored by JPMorganChase.

Her team was 2nd runner up for their business idea -- Black Bazaar: "Bridging The Gap Between Black-Owned Businesses and Their Communities." The goal of Black Bazaar is to make it easier for local Black business owners and consumers to connect on a single platform.
