Japan Studies Summer Study Opportunities

Spelman-Tsuda Student Exchange Program

One year study at Tsuda College, Tokyo, will provide students with a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in Japanese culture and language through living and studying in a world-renowned Japanese college. It is highly recommended to students majoring in the humanities, social sciences, or computer science.

Summer Study in Japan at Josai International University

The four-week intensive summer study program is offered at Josai International University, in Togane, Japan, from mid-May to mid-June. Students will take one Japanese language course, one Japanese culture course, and earn eight credits. A limited number of scholarships are available.

To reserve a place in the Summer Study Program, pick up an application form from Dr. Xuexin Liu, Department of World Languages and Literature. Application forms are available.
