The Spelman faculty is comprised of approximately 180 full-time teacher/scholars guiding more than 27 majors. Eighty-six percent of Spelman’s full-time faculty hold the Ph.D. or other terminal degree, and many are Spelman graduates.

Our student/faculty ratio of 10:1 allows for close mentoring and  guidance so that our faculty and students develop bonds that last well into the future.
