Alexandria Lockett, assistant professor in English, will be a keynote speaker for the inaugural Antiracist Teaching and Learning Assessment Conference. In her keynote address, she will discuss how Wikipedia editing can be strategically used to practice antiracism in writing-intensive teaching across curricula and communities.

This free virtual event takes place Sept. 17, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. PST. Dr. Lockett will be featured alongside a group of highly accomplished rhetoric and composition scholars including keynote speakers Vershawn Ashanti Young (University of Waterloo), Ana Milena Ribero (Oregon State University), Victor Villanueva (Washington State University), and Asao B.
