Charissa Threat Wins Award for Outstanding Research and Writing

Charissa Threat
Charissa Threat, Ph.D., assistant professor of history, has received the American Association for the History of Nursing (AAHN) 2017 Lavinia L. Dock Award for her book "Nursing Civil Rights: Race and Gender in the Army Nurse Corps." The Lavinia L. Dock Award recognizes outstanding research and writing produced by an experienced scholar in nursing history.

AAHN is a network of discovery that advances historical scholarship in nursing and health care and promotes the development of historians.
