We strive to provide students with the most exciting and effective group fitness classes. Complimentary Master Classes are scheduled daily and led by certified instructors with a great deal of knowledge and experience.

Listed below are regularly occurring classes and a description of each training course. Our unique class structure is set to facilitate greater technique, flexibility, balance, strength, stamina, endurance and performance of daily living activities, while also targeting mental health and emotional wellness.

Class Descriptions


Synchronize your Mind and Body to dynamically flow to the beat in this high-paced spin class. Use our state of the art Spin Studio to tone, melt fat and improve muscular performance with an increased afterburn. This class is the perfect mix of power rides, endurance training and speed drills with energetic hip-hop music to get the body moving and grooving for a full-body workout.


This class is taught by Karate World Champion and 3X Taekwondo State Champion, Master Cameron Cullers. To combat stress and anxiety through a technique known as "release therapy", participants will learn a variety of kickboxing techniques that will not only give them a great workout, but also introduces them to basic self-defense tactics that are needed more today than ever before. Cardio Kickboxing provides students with a safe space to release anger, frustration and tension. Leave class feeling rejuvenated and restored, as you are encouraged to "empty the chamber."


DANCING IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR BODY! Focusing on fun, self-acceptance, and a confidence-building atmosphere, Twerk Tabata will make you forget you are doing a workout! Dancing is a form of cardio exercise that also affects mood and mind in a positive way. Our Twerk Tabata class will help to improve energy output, elevate your mood and lower your stress levels all while dancing to the hottest Hip Hop tracks.


GET READY TO ELEVATE YOUR HEART RATE AND MIND! This class incorporates strength-training, cardio, balance and flexibility through a blend of traditional yoga asana combined with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to improve cardiovascular endurance and help burn maximum body fat while targeting small but mighty muscles.


Forget the silence of a traditional relaxation yoga class in this up-tempo flexibility improvement session set to Trap, Hip Hop music. High energy is the difference here as our instructors create a welcoming environment for all yogi levels to experience its mental, physical, and spiritual benefits.


This class will have you mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. A total body workout, combining all elements of cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.


Wake up bright and early to catch this unique, semi-hot yoga class that will be sure to get you both sweating, and ready to start your day. Reaffirming words of power focus on self and connecting with your spiritual side is the goal of this poolside morning class.


Dance and strength are the focus of this island-based class that will have you mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. A total body workout, combining all elements of cardio, muscle conditioning, and fun!


Get ready to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to your fitness routine. AquaDIVA Water Aerobics program will empower participants to feel more comfortable and pro-active about incorporating ongoing fitness and a positive body image as a lifestyle choice. The water resistance will help to create one electrifying pool party!


Spelman Swim class will teach lessons on the importance of swimming and techniques. Students will be introduced to the four competitive swimming strokes as well as rescue skills and healthy lifestyle habits. We want students to be confident and comfortable in the water while also enhancing readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences.


Work up a sweat during our high-intensity 60-minute spin class. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cycler, Fit Cycle caters to all levels. Take a seat and prepare to take your workout to the next level in this hip-hop infused experience that will get your heart rate up, improve endurance, build glutes and strengthen leg muscles. FUN. ENERGETIC. INTENSE.


Push your fitness goals to the next level by improving strength, stability and flexibility in order to achieve optimal levels of performance. Sweat Series focuses on a different muscle group each week to give you complete variety and well-rounded results. HIIT the floor running and moving between exercise drills from one circuit to the next until completion. Need an extra push? Team up with one or two of your Spelman sisters and get it done together! Get ready for a combination of strength training, stability and flexibility training workouts that will have you feeling stronger all over.


Well-rounded glutes and thighs are the focus in this lower body centered class. Learn the correct techniques to build up your legs and glutes during a high-intensity session utilizing free weights, glute bands and machines.
