Spelman COVID-19 Operations has released its Spring 2023 COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidance.
Since 2020, the Spelman community has embraced a culture of compliance with protocols, evident through relatively low on-campus COVID-19 positivity rates over the past two years. As the spread of COVID-19 persists and subsequent variants emerge, the revised guidance and protocols – influenced by research and information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), and localized data specific to the AUC community – will allow Spelman students, alumnae, faculty, staff and visitors to stay safe and healthy as they continue to navigate this pandemic.
Highlights of the new guidance include the continuation of indoor masking through Jan. 31, updated on-campus student testing guidance, and important changes regarding visitor access to campus.
For quick reference, Spelman COVID-19 Operations has developed a multipage document detailing updated protocols that can be saved and printed.
