Spelpreneur is back and ready to help students take their business ventures to the next level!
Ernest Homes, co-founder of nonprofit CODEHOUSE and technical program manager at Google, will introduce the 10-Day Startup Competition at the spring informational session for Spelpreneur on Jan. 24.
This is a co-curricular initiative that allows students to develop a strong business acumen through one-on-one mentorship and weekly educational sessions with successful entrepreneurs. Spelpreneur educates, inspires and empowers students, and it is open to all current Spelman College students.
This semester, Spelpreneur will offer two diverse programs: the Spelpreneur Start Program, which focuses on increasing a student’s knowledge and practice of entrepreneurship, and the Spelpreneur Pre-Accelerator Program, an empowering eight-week program that gives early-stage companies the opportunity to build a viable product – a tool used to identify customers’ interest without developing the full product.
