Kelsey M. Cadien, C’2025, has secured a fall semester internship with the state office of Senator Jon Ossoff as a member of the Carrier Company Ambassador Program.
Cadien is a political science major on the pre-law track and is a native of Beaumont, Texas. As part of the internship, she will highlight and promote Carrier events on campus, while also learning more about Carrier and continuing her long-time commitment to service.
Cadien has served as a member of Spelman’s IGNITE E-board, was 2021-2022 president of Spelman's Stewart Living & Learning Center (LLC I) and Johnetta Betsch Cole Living-Learning Center II (LLC II) through the Community Leadership Council and as a Sisters Chapel assistant. She currently serves as Girls Going Global vice president intern, Sisters Chapel communications chair and is also a member of the media ministry.
Cadien has received many honors including Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society membership, the Presidential Community Service Award, a United States Congressional Proclamation and was named a Jimmy Rane Scholar. This summer, she interned with Judge Ramona Franklin in the 338th Criminal District Court of Harris County, Texas.
