
During her four years at Spelman College, Lauryn Collins studied abroad at the London School of Economics and Political Science, interned as a Next-Gen Scholar at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., and participated in American University’s Washington Semester Summer Internship Program where she completed a virtual colloquium in Government in conjunction with a remote internship for SOS Children’s Villages USA.
The Prince George’s County, Maryland native is a member Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta First-Year Honor Society. While maintaining academic excellence on both the Dean’s List and Honor Roll, she served as an SGA intern, the vice president of ENACTUS, E-Board member of LYTEhouse, and membership chair of SKIRTS Inc. She also volunteered weekly as a 1st grade classroom volunteer at Dunbar Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia.
Post Graduation Plans
Following graduation, Collins will begin working as a staff consultant with Ernst & Young’s Government and Public Sector practice.
