Message to the Class of 2020
"Although this year did not end the way we planned and times are tough right now, I would like for everyone to look back on all the amazing memories we have created as Spelmanites and everything that is yet to come in our lives as we transition to become Spelman women. The bonds formed within the gates of Spelman will last a lifetime and the knowledge gained will support us in all of our future endeavors. Congratulations to everyone on all of our accomplishments and everything we will achieve in the future."
As the daughter of Spelman and Morehouse college graduates, Hannsberry always had her sights on attending her mother's alma mater. Her love for education led her to study elementary education. She believes she can make the most difference in public school classrooms, where she will work to shape the great minds of the future. While at Spelman, Hannsberry was a member of the Spelman College Glee Club and the Student Ambassadors program. Through the Glee Club, she served as librarian her sophomore year, secretary her junior year, and president her senior year.
