Jade Weatherington is a graduating senior chemistry major from Roselle, New Jersey. This year, she served as the co-president for Grl Pwr and the president of the Chemistry Club. Upon graduation, she will continue her education by pursuing a masters degree in biomedical sciences.
"I thank God for 'A Choice to Change the World.' Although this is not how I planned for my senior year to end, I would not change a thing. It is comfortable to be still in a world full of changes, but adaptability allows for our growth to reach success. From the moment I entered the Spelman gates in 2016 to my fondest campus memories, I have been surrounded by friends and mentors who believed in my goals and have held me accountable for sticking with them."
