Lauren Spann Lands Job as Business Technology Analyst

April 2020

spann Economics major Lauren Spann, C'2020, has a promising future. Upon graduation, she will head to Washington D.C. to work full time as a business technology analyst for Deloitte Consulting.

While at Spelman, Spann participated in the Ethel Wadle Githii Honors Program for four years and was a member of the economics honor society -- Omicron Delta Epsilon.

Spann. a northern Virginia native, served as president of the Community Foundation for Financial Literacy (CFFL) and as vice president of the Economics Club. She is also a graduate of Spelman's Women of Excellence and Leadership program (WEL), and interned as a technology consulting summer scholar with Deloitte.

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, commonly referred to as Deloitte, is a multinational professional services network. It is one of the "Big Four" accounting organizations and the largest professional services network in the world by revenue and number of professionals with headquarters in London, United Kingdom.

While working as a business technology analyst, Spann will be on track to obtain her MBA thanks to funding from her new employer -- Deloitte.
