Jada Booker Leverages Internships to Gain Real-World Experience

While at Spelman College, economics major Jada Booker, C'2020, has been afforded the opportunity to obtain valuable real-world experience through several internships. She has interned at Moody's Investors Service in New York, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the Atlanta Regional Office, and Deloitte Consulting in the local Atlanta office.

On campus, she had the honor of serving as a Spelman Student Government Association intern, Junior Class Council treasurer, Gifted Girls of Grace Inc. e-Board member, and SKIRTS Inc. vice president all while being on the Dean's List all four years. In 2019, the McDonough,Georgia native was inducted into the Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society.
This year, she was named a Spelman 2020 Women of Excellence (WEL) Scholar.
 
Upon graduation, Booker plans to work with Deloitte Consulting as a business technology analyst. After gaining experience in the field, she plans to pursue her MBA.
