Kendal Whitlock Participates in a Panel Discussion at the Making More Health Convention in Germany

Spelman Alumna Kendall WhitlockKendal Whitlock, MPH, CHCP, C'90, participated in a panel discussion at the Making More Health Convention, a two-day summit at Boehringer Ingelheim (Germany), for social entrepreneurs and business leaders, focused on global heath care innovation. 

Through a partnership with Ashoka, she has conducted infectious disease education for a community health worker train-the-trainer program, and co-created a scalable diabetes digital health solution.

Whitlock, who is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in health and behavior studies at Teachers College of Columbia University, currently serves as the associate director of business innovation & access solutions at Boehringer Ingelheim.  Her 2018 accomplishments at the company include an "Agility Award" for leading and executing an Innovation Accelerator pilot project; and the "Smarty Pants Award" peer-to-peer recognition for seeing and taking a smart risk leading to a better outcome.

Prior to Boehringer Ingelheim, Whitlock served as the senior education manager of rheumatology at Med IQ Research and Education.
