Government Consulting - Exploring This Lesser-known STEM Job

As college students plan their futures in STEM, there is an entire market they may not be aware of that serves the largest customer in the world, the federal government. From government agencies to companies that serve those agencies, government consulting is an industry that welcomes STEM professionals and specialized experts who can offer advice to government agencies in a variety of areas ranging from business and strategy, finance, information technology, health, scientific research, to system development.

Join Mo Adeyoju, director of the CVP Customer Success Office, as she shares insights into STEM jobs in government consulting. During this chat, Adeyoju will offer best practices and insider tips on how to get a job in STEM government consulting and how to grow in this career field.

This event is part of an ongoing speaker series, CVP @ Spelman, organized by the Spelman College Center of Excellence for Minority Women in STEM in collaboration with CVP.

ABOUT Mo Adeyoju

Mo AdeyojuMo Adeyoju is the director of the CVP Customer Success Office. In this role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining transformational operational initiatives that ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and delivery excellence.

Adeyoju is a visionary leader of cross-functional teams with a track record of success in directing teams throughout all stages of the project lifecycle to achieve measurable results and improve team and business agility through the implementation and adoption of Lean and Agile practices. Leveraging her computer engineering background, she manages and leads large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives to automate functions, re-engineer processes and develop systems that improve user experience. She leads teams in developing customer-focused, business-aligned solutions and systems and provides oversight, leadership and strategic direction to business leaders, project and product managers, and product teams.

Adeyoju received a B.S. in computer science and engineering from the University of Ife, Nigeria; an M.S. in professional and technical communications from the New Jersey Institute of Technology; and an M.S. in business and information systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is a Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scaled Agile Framework Advanced Scrum Master, Certified SAFe Program Consultant and a PMI-Certified Project Management Professional.
