Kenicia Walker graduated from Spelman College in 2015 with her bachelor’s degree in Spanish. She is a fourth-year dual-degree master of public health and doctor of pharmacy student at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

During her time at Campbell, Walker has served in many leadership roles allowing her to promote diversity and inclusion at the university, in the pharmacy profession, and surrounding communities. She was an integral part of writing and establishing the school's first diversity statement, as well as helping implement diversity training for students and faculty members.

Walker currently works as a clinical pharmacy intern in the Duke University hospital system with aspirations of completing a clinical pharmacy residency following her graduation in May 2020. Her ultimate goal is to become an ambulatory care pharmacist. Her pharmacy interests vary from women's health to infectious diseases. Walker’s goal is to work in underserved populations to assist in treating patients with various health disparities as well as bridge the language barrier that exists among Spanish-speaking patients.
