Brittany Inge, C’2011, was recently named one of eight young actors to watch by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Initially aspiring to be a singer/songwriter, Inge was captured by acting after auditioning for a role in a local theater.
Inge has appeared in numerous high-profile theater productions and expanded into television and film, appearing in a movie based on the best-selling young adult novel, “The Hate U Give,” scheduled for release late this year. In December 2017, Inge starred in “The First Noel,” a musical directed by actor-director Jasmine Guy. Her recent work also includes television roles. “My most recently aired TV work was a co-starring role on ‘Survivor’s Remorse’ for STARZ, which aired in September 2017,” said Inge.
“What is next for me is tons of auditioning, preparing and lots of praying. I am also getting back to writing and creating original content.” Inge is passionate about creating more roles for Black actresses through her writing.
