Welcome to my page for English 317 18th century Restoration. Throughout the semester we have done several projects that reflect the knowledge we have gained as 18th century British literature scholars. Though I cite all the information as useful one of my favorites was assignment 1. I was allowed to immerse myself in multiple sources and find out information about a topic that interest me. At the same time I was allowed to challenge my sources and investigate the creditability and whether it would serve useful to my fellow students.

It was from these several assignments that I became a better researcher. They challenged me to find information in a direct and tactful manner. Also with the discovery of this information I was forced to investigate and find out if the information was purposeful and relative. Not only did it strengthen my skills but it also exposed what I needed to work on as a scholar. I am currently trying to establish a familiar sense with my scholarly sources, such as WorldCat, Jstor and MLA Literature. I would hope that the assignments listed on the left hand side of the screen will aid my peers in their quest for knowledge regarding this  rich century!
