My interests in computer science are both in the educational as well as technical research areas. In the educational arena, I am interested in developing undergraduate research programs, innovative curriculum development in computer science, and primary/secondary computing curriculum development. In the technical research arena, I have been interested in compilers for high-performance parallel machines and embedded systems. My other research interests are information processing and categorization and programming language design and implementation. Other professional areas that I find interesting are computer networks, operating systems, and graphics/animation.
