Interview with Dr. Simpson:
What is the average MCAT score for the 2006 entering class?
The MCAT is divided into four comprehensive sections and all have a 1-15 scoring range with 1 being the lowest and 15 being the best possible score. The writing section of the test is graded with a raw score but is later translated into a letter score; J is the lowest score and T is the highest score. Most of our students make an average score of 10 on each section.
What are some of the national accomplishments that Johns Hopkins is noted for?
Also, Dr. Benjamin Carson has had a huge impact on the pediatric neurology field. Carson has been recognized for successfully separating a pair of Siamese twins who were joined at the back of the head. Dr. Carson has taken risky steps in terms of performing surgeries on unborn babies for a variety of defects.

Personal reflection:
I am very impressed with Johns Hopkins University Medical School! After conducting research on their website, I was especially impressed with the honors and awards that both the school and and the hospital earned. I have also heard a lot about Dr. Ben Carson and the phenomenal things that he has done for children. Dr. Simpson was very informative in terms of fully answering all of my questions and even offering extra information.
