Funding
Colm Mulcahy gratefully acknowledge the generous support of the following
organizations and programs for student stipends, faculty release time,
consultations and expertise, instructional supplies, software, hardware
and travel, starting in 1993:
Provides support for collaborations with mathematicians at the
Institute of Cybernetics, Mathematics and Physics, Havana.
Allowed Victoria Hernandez from that institute to visit Spelman, May
2002, and also funded a two week visit to Cuba, March 2003, during which
twelve presentations were given at several institutes.

Main goal: to put some mathametics courses on the web using
WebCT. All courses taught in the
ensuing 8 years have utilized WebCT.
Uses included seminars in Computer Aided Geometric
Design, and The Mathematics of Computer
Graphics, and a mini-sabbatical at Boeing in Seattle in August 1996.
Subsequently, this has led to numerous
talks and workshops/ minicourses/
short courses at both regional and national levels.
It also lead to a paper.
Special thanks in particular to Dr. David Mizell, Dr. David Ferguson and
Dr. John Lewis at Boeing for their encouragement and support over the years.
Used to support research into Image Processing,
Computer Graphics and
Wavelets. Subsequently, this too has led to
numerous talks as well as
workshops/ minicourses/ short courses at
regional and national levels, as well as overseas.
It also lead to two papers.
