Not sure how you can teach specific course material? CWP provides
pedagogy handouts for teaching writing that can provide you with
additional help with particular subject matter. |
Workshops/Seminars

The Writing Center offers frequent workshops and seminars that
focus on a variety of writing-related issues, such as writing
pedagogy, writing assessment, research techniques and instructional
technology. Workshops include special topics such as business
writing, essay writing, and personal statements. When requested
a semester in advance, the Writing Center staff will assign tutors
to writing-intensive courses across the curriculum and will collaborate
on new workshops tailored to specific courses or majors.

The Writing Resource
Bank is a collection of print and audio-visual materials for faculty,
staff, and students that supports teaching, learning, and literacy
development. These materials cover Writing Skills Development, Assessment,
Multicultural Education, Computer-Assisted Writing Instruction,
English Language and Linguistics, Writing Across the Disciplines,
Style Manuals (MLA, APA, Chicago), Scholarship on Digital Portfolios. |

or FrontPage for their eFolios? Or maybe you would like to reinforce
how to write a good research paper. You can schedule our CWP staff, tutors
or multimedia assistants to come visit your class to facilitate
