Zarinah Mustafa was born in Portland, Oregon. She is passionate about law and advocacy, and is currently working towards a Political Science Degree at the illustrious Spelman College in Atlanta. Zarinah serves as the 2015-2016 President of the Spelman College Student Government Association. She is also an associate in the Spelman Social Justice Program, where she focuses her activism on the prison industrial complex’s impact of communities of color.

During the Summer, Zarinah has been given the opportunity to participate in the Georgia State Pre-law Undergraduate Scholars Program. She has also completed an internship with The Coca-Cola Company and traveled to South Africa to engage in dialogue around student-activism in Democratic societies.  Zarinah plans to obtain her Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration to pursue a career in the practice of law, entrepreneurship, and social justice advocacy. Through all of her extracurricular activities, Zarinah has not forgotten to achieve excellence in her academic endeavors and has maintained a 3.66 G.P.A.
