Reunion 2010: Fundraising Information
To educate our next generation of leaders, the College has launched a $150 million comprehensive campaign. The Campaign for Spelman College represents the largest fund raising effort in the College's history. This campaign will be transformational for Spelman, providing lasting support in six key areas:
• Attract and retain exceptional students
• Internationalize every undergraduate’s education
• Foster leadership, student by student
• Expand undergraduate research and career-related internships
• Enhance our alumnae network
• Increase service and community-based learning
With Reunion 2010 just a few months away, we encourage you to show your support for your alma mater by making a financial gift in honor of your reunion year. Our goal this year is to raise $590,000 and reach 100% participation and each class has a fundraising goal. Whether you are celebrating your first reunion, ten year reunion or you are a Golden Girl, your gift is a powerful way for you to be involved and impact the life of the College. ***Monthly gifts (minimum $10 per month) charged to a credit card or deducted from a checking/saving account. the form can be faxed (404-270-5050) or mailed to the Office of Annual Giving.
REUNION GIVING CRITERIA:
- All gifts from alumnae to Spelman College will automatically count for their class gift.
- Gifts from non-alumnae in honor of a Reunioner must indicate the alumna’s full name and class year on the gift.
- Deadline for the Blue Note Announcement is Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Matching Gift Forms must also be submitted to the College by Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
- A Reunioning alumna cannot give in honor of another Reunioning alumna.
PHILANTHROPY AWARDS:
Awards will be announced at the Blue Note Theatre & Reception,
on Saturday, May 16, 2010.
