Greetings
May 2006 was truly a period of reconnection and networking! Reunion 2006 marked a time for celebration! 125 Years of celebration to be exact! Over the weekend nearly 700 alumnae returned to campus. Thank you to the Reunion committee and almunae who attended and made 2006 a year to remember. Each year, attendance at reunion has increased dramatically. I encourage you to come see why. Reunion 2007 will usher in a new year of celebration and a renewed sense of pride for our beloved alma mater. We look forward to our sisters from the 2 and 7 classes this year.
It is indeed my pleasure to spearhead the anticipation surrounding Spelman’s reunion activities and welcome you back to campus for a weekend to remember. Let’s pan to take a trip down memory lane while enjoying the splendor and excellence of a special place that keeps current students engaged just as you were so many years ago. Reunion 2007 will be a weekend filled with a variety of events planned by Alumnae Affairs and you! So be sure to mark your calendars for May 17 – 20 th, call your friends, and make plans to join your classmates and fellow alumnae to celebrate a five-year milestone. You will be hearing from us again as Reunion ’07 approaches.
