Family Weekend Frequently Asked Questions
1. When is Family Weekend?
Family Weekend will be held Friday, Feb. 17 - Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017.
2. Will I be able to purchase packages and tickets for the various Family Weekend events when I arrive to campus for the weekend?
Please note that we are unable to accommodate onsite registration for Family Weekend. We strongly encourage you to register in advance. Online registration ends Feb. 3, 2017 at 5 p.m. (EST). No onsite registration.
NOTE: Registration has been extended until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.
3. Will I need to purchase tickets to the various Family Weekend events for my student?
All Spelman students are admitted at no charge to all Family Weekend events. Additionally, students who do not have a meal plan will be required to purchase meals in the Alma Upshaw Dining Hall. If you would like to have a brochure mailed out to you, please contact us.
4. There are children attending Family Weekend with me. Will I need to register them?
5. Are refunds available?
Because of fixed costs and item limitation in planning, all Family Weekend registration fees and charges are non-refundable.
