Student Profiles: Fennella Miller, C'2015
This summer, rising senior Fennella Miller made an indelible imprint on the world of fashion. The English major and fashionista served as lead intern with JadeLee.org, an Atlanta-based fashion organization focused on African-American women and their families. During her internship, Lee traveled to New York for two days to shoot fashion videos, all while completing fashion shoots and honing her skills in entrepreneurship, character development, mentorship, leadership training and business planning.
In addition to writing fashion blogs and developing a website, Miller planned ideas for a future boutique, helped coordinate a fashion show and concert, and attended the Kentucky Derby. A motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Jade Lee is a fashion designer, model and life coach. Her organization’s mission is to heal women, young ladies and girls through spiritual, emotional, mental and natural development. Seniors Paige Caruthers, Camilla Lidonde and Michaeline Fraser were also summer interns.
