Rising Senior Soars With Delta Air Lines

Thanks to her summer cooperative education experience, Najja Ellis, C’2015, is going places she never imagined. As a fleet engineering co-op intern with Delta Air Lines, the dual-degree mathematics and electrical engineering major is responsible for executing the development, design and process and inspection documentation in support of Delta’s worldwide maintenance activities.  Read More

Ko Bragg Goes BOLD With Google

History major Ko Bragg, C’2015, is going BOLD with Google this summer.  As a Google BOLD, or Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development intern in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Bragg hopes to shatter the glass ceiling while representing African-American women in technology.

As part of her internship, Bragg serves as an associate account strategist in the Small and Medium Services department at Google. Read More

Future Veterinarians Gain Valuable Internship Experience

While most interns are clocking in at work sporting suits, ties and heels, psychology major Karah Alexander, C’2015, and Zenobya Clark, C’2017, are spending their summer getting dirty at the intensive and highly selective Veterinary Enrichment Summer Program at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Known as Vetward Bound, this seven-week program provides academic reinforcement for underrepresented undergraduate students with an interest in veterinary medicine. Read More

Connecting Children With Nature

Rising senior Taylor Morton is having the time of her life as a unit leader and outdoors specialist with Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. This summer marks the second year the environmental studies major has worked at Camp Pine Acres in Acworth, Georgia.

During camp season, Morton, who is affectionately known as “Grizz” to campers, instructs various outdoor activities such as archery and fishing. Read More
