Co-op 101 Seminar Series
The seminar series is a requirement for any student planning on participating in the Co-op program. It will be offered each semester for participating students and others considering participation. Each of the five, two-hour sessions will focus on professional development or “soft skills,” to ensure a high level of preparedness for networking and interviewing.
The seminar sessions are open to all students regardless of classification or major. Students participating in the Co-op Program are required to attend ALL sessions.
The Co-op 101 Seminar Series sessions are back for Fall 2013!
The dates are as follows:
- September 9
- September 16
- September 30
- October 3
Location: All sessions will occur in the Suites Meeting Room 210
Time: 11a.m. - 1 p.m.
Facilitators: Sessions will be led by Spelman alumnae, representatives from corporate, non-profit, entrepreneurs, human resources personnel and career coaches.
NOTE: Students participating in the Seminar Series are not required to participate in a Co-op experience nor are all participants guaranteed to be chosen for a Co-op experience. Participation in the Seminar Series does not guarantee a position.
